You have a variety of choices when learning to dance:
Group Classes, Private Lessons, or Workshops
Group Classes: These classes usually meet once per week for a for week session (for example, every Monday at 8 PM for four Mondays). Group classes can focus just on one dance or cover a couple of different dance styles.
Private Lessons: Available as a single or couple, you are scheduled with a single instructor for a 50 minute lesson at a time that is convenient for you. Although private instruction is generally a little more expensive than group instruction, you get a full lesson hour dedicated to the dance and steps you want to learn at a time that works for YOUR schedule.
Workshops: Similar to group classes except they are usually a 3-6 hour intensive session with specific times focusing on different aspects of dance (technique, spins, etc.). These intensives usually take place on the weekends and focus on one particular dance style.
